🐾 About Vet Culture Co.
I've spent over twenty years inside veterinary clinics. Not visiting them. Not consulting from a distance. Inside them. Managing the schedules, balancing the budgets, fielding the phone calls, navigating the tears in the break room and the victories in the surgery suite. Two decades of watching the best people I know show up every day for work that most people couldn't handle for a week.
And somewhere along the way, I noticed something that kept bugging me.
The products made "for" veterinary professionals weren't made by veterinary professionals. They were made by people who Googled "funny vet gifts" and slapped a cartoon syringe on a coffee mug. You know the ones. Generic paw prints. Clip art stethoscopes. Captions that sound like they were written by someone whose closest experience to a vet clinic was taking their golden retriever in for a nail trim.
That's not us. That's not this world.
This world is a dental prophy on a geriatric cat who decided today was the day to channel pure, unfiltered violence. It's the receptionist who just handled a euthanasia call, a billing dispute, and a puppy check-in, all within the same four minutes. It's the tech who hit a vein on the first stick on a dehydrated chihuahua, and nobody even saw it happen.
That world deserved better products. So I built them.
What Vet Culture Co. Actually Is
Vet Culture Co. started in my home office in South Carolina with a simple idea: make things that veterinary teams actually want. Not things that look cute on an Etsy search. Things that make a tech laugh on a twelve-hour shift. Things that say "I see you" to the person who just expressed a Great Dane's anal glands and still has three more appointments before lunch.
We make stickers, pens, notecards, memo pads, and curated bundles, all designed from the inside. Every product comes from a real moment, a real role, a real slice of clinic life.
Our stickers are waterproof matte vinyl, three inches of recognition that won't fade, peel, or quit before you do. Vaccine parodies like the Ray-Bees Vaccine (if you know, you know). Award medals for the Dentistry Dynamo, the Vein Whisperer, the Reception Ringleader. The kind of stuff that ends up on water bottles, laptop lids, and the break room fridge, because it actually means something to the person who puts it there.
Our pens are heavy-duty metal with laser engraving that won't disappear after forty rounds of hand sanitizer or the inevitable "borrowing" by a doctor who swears they'll give it back. Spoiler: they won't.
Our notecards are blank inside, because what you write to your team should come from you, not from a pre-printed Hallmark sentiment. The outside does the heavy lifting with designs that actually reflect what these roles look like day to day.
And our bundles? A notecard, a pen, and a handful of stickers packaged together for the person on your team who deserves to know they're appreciated. Because recognition shouldn't require a committee meeting and a budget approval.
Why This Matters
Here's the thing about veterinary medicine. I'll only say this once because you already know it. This industry loses good people. Burnout, compassion fatigue, feeling invisible. The turnover rate in vet med isn't a statistic you need me to quote. You've lived it. You've watched someone great walk out the door because they felt like nobody noticed what they were doing.
I can't fix the staffing crisis with a sticker. I'm not pretending I can. But I can make a product that says "Dentistry Dynamo" and hand it to the tech who just cleaned fourteen mouths this week, and watch her face light up. I can put a pen in a manager's hand that says "Calm Aura (Dumpster Fire Inside)" and hear them laugh for the first time all day.
Small things matter. Especially when everything else feels heavy.
Vet Culture Co. exists because veterinary teams deserve products created by someone who's been in the room. Someone who knows that "clinic chaos" isn't a cute hashtag. It's Tuesday. Someone who understands that the humor in this field isn't mean-spirited; it's survival. It's how we get through the hard days and celebrate the good ones.
What's Next
We're growing. New collections, new product types, new ways to help practices recognize their people without it feeling forced or corporate. Limited runs that actually stay limited, because scarcity isn't a marketing trick here. It's the reality of a one-person operation running on quality over volume.
Every product ships from South Carolina. Every design starts from a real conversation, a real observation, a real moment in practice. Free shipping on orders over thirty bucks, because I know what vet salaries look like and I'm not about to nickel-and-dime the people I built this for.
If you've worked in a clinic and felt like nobody outside the building understood what your day actually looks like, this brand is for you. If you've wanted to recognize someone on your team but couldn't find anything that didn't feel generic and hollow, this brand is for you. If you just want a sticker that makes you snort-laugh in the middle of charting? Yeah. This brand is for you too.
Funny. Functional. True.
Designed for today's veterinary teams.
